Richard Albright II, Director

Richard is a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County and has been teaching in the county school system since 1975. He graduated from Andover High School and did both his undergraduate and graduate work at Towson University. In 2017, after 43 years of service, Richard retired from Anne Arundel County Public Schools, where he taught high school, middle school, and elementary school band and orchestra. In September 2017, he accepted the position of band director at Chapelgate Christian Academy in Marriottsville. Richard was honored with the “Excellence in Education” award given by the North County Chamber of Commerce, and he has been a “Disney Teacher of the Year” nominee. He lives in Pasadena with his wife Debi and his faithful dogs, Buddy and Colby.

Anne Kramer, Assistant Director

Anne has been an instrumental music teacher in Anne Arundel County since 2005. Her undergraduate degree is in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in piano and clarinet. She also holds a Master of Music Technology degree with a focus on education from Valley Forge Christian College. In 2014, Anne was awarded the "Excellence in Education" honor by the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Kramer is also a member of various professional and educational groups including the National Guild of Piano Teachers and the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME). Anne has been a member of the Bay Winds Band since 2009, performs with the West Laurel Rag Tag Band, and is a guest musician with local groups in the Ocean City area, often playing clarinet or trumpet.
